Taylor said she plans to run for the trustee position when it is up for election in 2022. In February 2020, Taylor was selected to fulfill the remaining term of then-board member Brenda Brittain, who resigned due to health reasons. Prior to working in real estate, Taylor worked as an office manager for Morgan County Rural Water for 15 years. This is the second time Taylor has earned an election position through a caucus vote.
