Taylor said she plans to run for the trustee position when it is up for election in 2022. In February 2020, Taylor was selected to fulfill the remaining term of then-board member Brenda Brittain, who resigned due to health reasons. Prior to working in real estate, Taylor worked as an office manager for Morgan County Rural Water for 15 years. This is the second time Taylor has earned an election position through a caucus vote. Risch was on the ballot in the general election on November 8.
Martinsville: School district promotes digital citizenship in classrooms. Ken Risch (Republican Party) ran for election for Washington Township Trustee, Wayne County. Taylor and Deputy Trustee Todd O'Neal were the only two candidates seeking the position during the caucus, which was led by Carole Snyder, Morgan County GOP vice chair. Taylor, a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty, most recently served as the secretary on the three-member township advisory board.
